Nirma University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
The candidate is required to have passed the Class 12th qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer/ Vocational Subject) from a single board with the minimum percentage of marks as decided by the Government of Gujarat (GoG) under the rule of admission for the fulfillment of Nirma University B.Tech eligibility criteria 2024. The candidate must have also applied for JEE Main Entrance Examination.
Nirma University B.Tech Selection Process
Nirma University B.Tech selection process is based on the All India Rank of the applicants in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2024 examination. Nirma University admission 2024 is made purely on the basis of merit and merit list will be prepared as per the guidelines of ACPC. The seats will be allotted as per the following criteria.
- Government seats will be filled in by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC, GoG). Candidates need to apply to ACPC, GoG, separately.
- All India seats will be filled from the candidates who have secured an All India Rank in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2024 examination and have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State).

Nirma University M.Tech eligibility criteria (Regular) as per various specializations offered by the university are listed below.
- Nirma University M.Tech eligibility criteria state that the candidate must have passed the Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from a recognized university with a minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by AICTE from time to time or equivalent CPI in the qualifying examination. OR
- The applicant must have passed any other qualifying degree examination considered as equivalent by Nirma University with a minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the AICTE from time to time or equivalent CPI.

- The applicant should have passed the BE/ B.Tech from a recognized University with minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the AICTE from time to time or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Index (CGPI) in the qualifying examination
- The candidates should also have a minimum experience of 3 years in R&D related work in research organization or institute after graduation. A ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employers must be submitted by the candidate for taking up this programme
Nirma University M.Tech Selection Process
The applicants interested in the M.Tech (Regular) programme must have a valid GATE score in the relevant subject. There are 18 seats available in each specialization. Further Nirma University M.Tech selection process is as follows
- Applicants having greater than or equal to the qualifying marks out of 100 or score in respective discipline will be given admission based on GATE merit.
- If there is any vacancy after the admission of GATE applicants then the non-GATE applicants or the applicants having less than the qualifying marks in GATE will be offered admission based on the merit of the All India Basis written test conducted by Nirma University.
The admissions of the M.Tech (By Research) programme will be based on an interview conducted by a committee consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Engineering (FoTE), concerned Head of the Department and concerned faculty member. After the interview by the committee, admission will be confirmed on the recommendation of the committee after the payment of prescribed fees.

Master of Computer Applications is provided by Nirma University. The programme is of 2 years duration. The applicants will be provided admission on the basis of eligibility criteria and further selection process of admission 2024.

Placements & Internships : I'm in 3rd year of civil engineering so I havent done any internship yet, but yeah there are a good source of learning and provide experience for campus placements.
Fees & Scholarships : 20000 INR is my fees per year and scholarships are available for lower caste students.
Academics & Faculty : 9.00am to 4.00pm is the general timing of college and 1.00pm to 2.00pm is lunch break. Professor's are well educated.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 4 to 5 hostels are there and the food is good too. The college canteen is little expensive but mess food is okay and affordable.
Clubs & Associations : RCNI , IEI, Augen are the various clubs here. Campus life is quite awesome with canteen and well-equipped library and reading room facilities.

A decent score with a good board result confirms your entry into the college. Great institute with some great faculties. Getting in through all India quota is quite difficult (35%), while through acpc can prove easier (50%), gulf quota also proves good but costlier
Placements & Internships : Average companies are mass recruiters. TCS and Infosys are the major job providers. Average package ranges from 3.5-4 lacs. Cs sees most placement followed by EC.
Fees & Scholarships : The fees of the institute are INR 1.86 lakh. For gulf quota, it is $5000, top 50 students get the scholarship. Scholarships are based on merits and merit cum income. Loans are generally not needed
Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Assignments are quite interesting and fun in the first year. The overall experience of the college is quite dull.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Here you have to take a PG. There are plenty of PGS to choose from. The average cost of lunch in college is INR 75. And leaving in PG will cost north of a lakh.
Clubs & Associations : Student bodies are good but under a constant threat from the institute. Rotary club is one of the best socio-cultural clubs on the campus.

Placements & Internships : Its placement is also good. The average package of the electrical branch is also excellent. So this year highest package is nearly 22 lac's in computer branch.
Fees & Scholarships : In this university, most of the students get a scholarship from university Average no. Of students who get the scholarship is 15 to 20 %. The college fees per annum are 1,76,000.00000 There are many options are available for greying scholarship - on the basis of jee score
Academics & Faculty : The quality and method of teaching are excellent The teachers always ready to clear the doubts of students. The timetable is also excellent The overall experience is good in my college
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The facilities are also excellent. The libraries are also excellent most of the books are available there. And full ac libraries. The hostel facilities are not available for BTech students. But many pg/hostels are available near outside the college The fees of the hostel is nearly is 80k to 100k.
Clubs & Associations : SThe cricket ground is available here for students. Some of the indoor games facilities are also available i.e. table tennis, etc Raas Garba, etc is the main festival on campus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are mainly three ways to get into the college. Namely: 1) All India quota (35%) JEE is considered for the selection process; its mostly for CBSE students. 2) ACPC (50%) - Gujarat board selection process based on marks in the board exam and JEE. 3) Gulf + NRI quota (5+10%)
Placements & Internships : Internships/vocational training are purely based on the contacts of the individual. If you don't have contacts to get into a company, then the university will offer a list of companies to work with and there is no stipend. Computer and IT are the luckiest streams with highest placement ratio and even the highest package. One of the prime reasons behind this is that more IT, computer companies visit the campus compared to other branches.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fees keep on increasing every year. When I joined, it was around INR120000 per annum and now it has reached INR 140000. Scholarships are available for CM scholarship. If the loan is required, then its quite easily availed.
Academics & Faculty : There are two slots: 9 am to 4 pm and 11 am to 6 pm. Which includes lectures, labs, lunch break and library time. Teaching is quite nice. There are tutorials and assignments for subjects where the practice is needed so as to ensure better learning.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are many hostels near the campus. Fees for which may vary from INR 45k to INR 100k per anum as per the hostel, number of members in the room. Many PG is also available near the college. They could cost around 8k per month. There are 4 canteens/ food courts on the campus. Quality of food is quite nice in the NIM canteen. Talking about the infrastructure and facilities available, they are the best one can have. WiFi access, Dellnet facility of the library are the best of all.
Clubs & Associations : There are associations for every department and in addition to that, a few other clubs are also there. NU tech is the major fest of the college where all the associations propose different workshops and events. In general, life at the college is very nice ..quite an experience.
