Fees & Scholarships : Janki Devi Memorial College, Delhi University, New Delhi Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 15,000 per year. Since it's a government college, the fees are quite less. Despite such low fees, there are scholarships available for students belonging to the lower-income group. And toppers from every stream are awarded scholarships every year for their outstanding performance.
Academics & Faculty : The college is pretty strict about the timings and attendance of a student. The regime is almost school like and that too girl's only. The teachers and pedagogy are top-notch and I loved being a part of the college.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college has one hostel of its own, called the Krishna Hostel and it's been just two years of its operation. Since the college is located in Karol Bagh, the cost of PGs is pretty high. Almost like 15-22k per month. Food is another problem if you are an outstation student and not residing in the hostel. The canteen is not that good although it's quite spacious. The classrooms are mediocre and WiFi doesn't work. Apart from that, the library is amazing.
Clubs & Associations : There are a lot of co-curricular and extracurricular student-run societies which the students can be a part of. The best among them is Nupur, the Indian classical dance society and Bardolators, the Shakespearean drama society. The annual college fest is not that huge, it's pretty average. The campus life can be boring for students who dreamt of being a part of happening college life with party and hustle-bustle with almost no studies. It's an all girl's college so no scope for all that. Apart from this, if you want to study, then this is the best college for you.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You have to clear the cut off marks of your course. Every college of DU has different criteria. Then after seeing cut off the list, in which college you met the cut-off, go and take admission. Admission and cut off is on the basis of 12th class percentage. No entrance exam only through cut off the list. Of my course i.e. BA programme...cut off varies from college to college. JDMC have first cut off approx 86 to 87% BA programme usually has cut off less than honours courses.
Placements & Internships : I have not done any internship. I don't know much about all this. Alumni network is fine. Every year, alumni meet is also organised in our college.
