There is a total of 225 seats available for a degree course in Bachelor (Agriculture), and an overall grand total of 415 seats with respect to partially related agricultural courses or other courses like Biotechnology, Fisheries, Pediatric Medicine, and Horticulture under BCECE colleges.

According to the table displayed above, some of the important factors which are considered for seat allotment are:
- The institutions, courses, and seat vacancies cited in the table is provisional, as these details will be decided at the time of counselling calls/interview.
- Each institution/college is inclusive of Disable Quota Seats within the total number of seats.
- The SQM quota allotment seats will be made after the approval from the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Bihar for each institution.
- The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India may allocate a few engineering seats in other state institutes other than Bihar. Further breakdown on this detail will be available at counselling/interview time.
- The plus sign (+) indicates about 5% seat reservation for Economically Backward Students whose parent/guardian income does not meet 4.5 LPA.
- Seats into private institutions are valid with the approval of AICTE/Department of Sc. & Tech., Government of Bihar. The AICTE cancelled the recognition of AIT Lakhisarai.
