How is the CAT Score Evaluated?
The CAT exam is conducted in 3 sessions post which a process of normalization takes place which ensures fairness and equality in the performance of candidates across different locations. The CAT score cards are generated after a sub-normalization process under the three parts of the CAT exam which are:
- Quantitative Reasoning (QA)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
Next, the marks scored by the candidates are converted to the percentile format which facilitates the shortlisting process. The CAT score calculator is available online. Further, the highest CAT scores are highlighted so that the level of competitiveness is visible to all candidates who wish to apply.
