- No person can apply for the HBSE Duplicate Marksheet 2024 on behalf of another person. The certificate will be sent by registered post.
- If the HBSE application form for the duplicate certificate is completed, then the certificate will be issued within two weeks.
- If the original certificate is lost, candidates must apply to that effect on the prescribed form duly attested by any recognized school authority, along with the payment of a requisite fee.
- If a certificate has been destroyed under any other circumstances, the candidate must file an affidavit. It is further provided that if the Certificate has been damaged and it has visibility of Roll No., Session, and Name of Candidate, the applicant has to surrender his damaged Certificate along with the application form with the requisite Fee. In such cases no need to furnish any Affidavit/FIR or any declaration.
- Formalities are the same as in Sr. No.3 for obtaining a third copy of a duplicate certificate.
- After issuance for the 3rd time, no duplicate certificate will be issued in any condition.
- If the certificate is not received within one month, the candidate should contact the Section Officer, Duplicate Certificate Branch, H.P. Board of School Education Dharamshala (Phone No. 01892242132). They must mention their name of the examination, Roll No. & Receipt of Fee in the letter so that necessary action could be taken.
- It is the responsibility of the candidate to remove the discrepancy intimated by the office once. In this regard, no correspondence will be made by the office time and again.
- A duplicate certificate showing detailed marks shall be issued to a candidate within ten years from the year of passing the said examination. The candidate applying for the issue of a duplicate certificate after the stipulated period shall be issued a certificate showing the total marks obtained by him in the examination. Still, on demand, the duplicate certificate showing detailed marks shall be issued subject to the availability of result sheets.
