Delhi ITI Admission 2024

The authority responsible for Delhi ITI admission 2024 is the Department of Training and Vocational Education, Government of Delhi. It begins the ITI admission process in Delhi in around June.

Candidates must note that they do not have to appear for any entrance exam for Delhi ITI admission. More details related to the Delhi ITI admission process are given below:

• Application process: Eligible Students must fill out the online applications via the official portal of ‘ITI Delhi Admissions.’ During the application form-filling process, candidates can enter their choices. Once the form is filled out, a printout of the same should be taken. Then, the candidate must go to the nearest government ITI for document verification.
• Application fee: The registration fee for ITI admission in Delhi ranges between INR 75 to INR 100, depending on the preferred program & ITI (private/government).
• Admission process: Delhi ITI admission process is completely merit-based. Candidates are assigned ranks based on their marks/grades in class 8th/10th/12th. A total of four counselling rounds are conducted by the admission authorities to fill the seats. These seats are allocated depending on the candidates' ranks. 

Uttar Pradesh ITI Admission 2024

Rajya Vyaavasaayik Prashikshan Parishad administers the UP ITI admission process. In general, the admission process for ITIs in UP begins in May/June each year. There is no entrance exam score requirement for Uttar Pradesh ITI admissions.

• Application fees: General category students can apply for ITI trades in Uttar Pradesh by paying a fee of INR 250. The application fee required for ST/SC categories is INR 150.
• Admission process: The results of seat allocation are released by the admission authority in the 1st or 2nd week of June. Using their credentials (roll number & birth date), candidates can access the seat allocation results via the official portal. Those students who obtain seats should pay the prescribed fee and report to the ITI institution within the given time period.

Bihar ITI Admission 2024

In Bihar, the ITI admission process is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Students must appear for the ITI Common Entrance Test (ITICAT) to gain admission into ITI programs in Bihar.

This entrance exam is usually administered in July each year and the application process for Bihar ITI admissions begins in April.

• Application process: The online application for ITICAT can be submitted through the official website of BCECEB. Candidates should also attach a scanned copy of their passport-size photograph to the ITICAT application form before submitting it. Also, it is necessary for candidates to have a valid email ID for ITICAT online registration.
• Application fees: INR 550 & INR 100 must be paid by general categories & SC/ST categories, respectively, as the ITICAT registration fee for ITI admission.
• Admission process: Candidates' rank/score achieved in the ITICAT exam determines their admission chances for Bihar ITI admissions. Further, candidates should participate in the ITICAT counselling procedure organised by BCECEB. Students are allocated seats according to their ranks, course & college preferences, seat availability, etc.

Kerala ITI Admission 2024

The authority responsible for administering Kerala ITI admissions is the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Kerala. Kerala ITI admission usually commences in the month of June. 

• Application process: The online application form should be filled out and submitted through DTE Kerala's official website. The candidates should take a printout of this form. Further, they should submit the printout of the application form together with self-attested copies of academic certificates to the ITI where they are aiming for admission.
• Application fees: Online application for Kerala ITI admission is INR 50.
• Admission process: A merit list is prepared by DTE Kerala and accordingly the authority allocates the seats. Candidates are accepted based on their merit and generally, they obtain a seat in their preferred choice of ITI college. The results for seat allocation are made available via the official website of DTE Kerala.

Rajasthan ITI Admission 2024

In Rajasthan, ITI admissions are conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Rajasthan. No entrance exam is required for Rajasthan ITI admission. Generally, admissions to ITI programs in Rajasthan start in June each year. 

• Application process: Firstly, it is required to complete the online ITI application form by going to the official portal of the DTE Rajasthan/Rajasthan Government. The scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and mark sheets of classes 8th/10th/12th must be uploaded to the application form.
• Application fees: The application fee for the ITI admission process is INR 100 for General category students and INR 75 for reserved category students.
• Admission process: A merit list of eligible students is made available by the admission authorities for Rajasthan ITI admission. Those students who make it to the merit list must attend the counselling process. Candidates must bear in mind that the allocation of seats will be based on merit only.

ITI Eligibility Criteria 2024

Getting ITI admission to any course depends on clearing its eligibility criteria. If the candidate fails to meet the eligibility conditions set by the institute for the course, the candidate will not be considered for admission to the program. The eligibility criteria vary from course to course for ITI admissions. Here’s what candidates should keep in mind:

• Certain ITI courses require the candidate to be an 8th Std Pass.

ITI Admission Exam 2024

The DGT conducts All India Trade Tests (AITT) under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) for its various schemes for ITI Admissions. AITT under Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) is conducted twice a year in India for more than 25 Lakh candidates.

The trainees of NCVT program-affiliated trades/units and other eligible candidates can appear for this exam. The admission, hall ticket generation, result declaration, and issuance of mark sheets and certificates are made through the official website.

• There is no need to send any hard copies of the documents to the exam authority. Only online applications are accepted.

ITI Admission Documents Required 2024

Before making a final decision on ITI admission, the competent authority verifies all of the candidate's original documents. Therefore, candidates must report to the concerned centre carrying all the essential documents, including the following:

M-Group Applicants

• Candidates must submit a photocopy of self-attested age proof, mark sheets, and certificate of 10+2 examinations.
• Self-attested photocopy of SC, ST, and PH certificates in the candidate's name for availing ITI admission under any reserved seats.
• For ITI admission, two passport-size photographs are to be retained by ITI.
• A photocopy of the Aaddhar Card must be self-attested
• The candidate must carry a self-attested copy of the vocational certificate if necessary.

E-Group Applicants

Every candidate must submit their self-attested class 8th mark sheet and certificate.

• A self-attested copy of the Aadhar Card is needed.
• A self-attested copy of the caste certificate if necessary.
• ITI would retain two passport-size copies of coloured photographs.
• Self-attested copy of vocational mark sheets, if needed.

The ITI trades fees in government and private ITIs are different. Students must pay extra fees for the hostel if they wish to opt for hostel accommodation.
