ITI Employability Skills is a subject that includes lessons on soft skills for ITI students. An online or CBT exam is conducted for the subject on various topics related to the development of soft skills in the ITI candidates.
The ITI Employability Skills is a subject for the ITI students. The subject was included in the ITI curriculum in order to impart lessons in soft skills to the students. This subject had been included in place of the pre-existing subject ‘Social Studies’.
Employability Skills - An ITI Subject
The ITI Employability Skill subject had been introduced in the curriculum keeping in mind the development of soft skills in the students. The term ‘employability skill’ primarily refers to the soft skill of effective interaction with the customers, clients, and the co-workers. These skills are crucial in and out of the workplace.
The hard skills, which is an occupational necessity, is complemented by the employability skills. The employability skills, in general, refer to the work ethics, communication, behaviour, and IT skills.
The ITI Employability Skills course has a duration of 2 years. This training is imparted by ITI or the Industrial Training Institute. The course includes a number of theory and practical classes and exams. The exams are conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

The mock test for ITI Employability Skills for the 1st year is conducted on a number of topics that the candidates need to choose by visiting the portal. The mock tests are conducted online.
