The authorities have created a 7-step process for National Cricket Academy selection. The steps for the National Cricket Academy Bangalore selection process are as follows:

Step 1: Candidates are required to be selected for their school team or play at academy level.
Step 2: Applicants are required to appear in Under 15, 17, 19, and 23 district-level camps.
Step 3: Candidates are required to be promoted to state level.
Step 4: Appearing for state-level cricket camps is the fourth step.
Step 5: After appearing for the state-level camps, the next step includes being in the top 15 of the National level of the candidate's respective category.
Step 6: After the National level, the candidates must play at the Zonal level.
