Say Oui at Patna University

Patna University is one of the oldest Universities in the state of Bihar and offers more than 70 courses. The University hosts more than 3,00,000 students and offers undergraduate,postgraduate and doctoral courses in the fields of Science, Commerce,Humanities. Bihar University has always aspired to bring about new academic curriculums to its syllabi and this year it has decided to offer students with foreign language courses.

Idea of Linguism

There are very few academies in Bihar that study foreign languages and the University analyzed that many students are interested in studying and learning different linguistic intercourses.The University believes that this will help the students in the future at global platforms.The University will also be offering courses to students who do not studey at the University. Students may apply for a diploma or certificate course

Courses offered

Along with International languages, the University will also be offering courses in Indian languages like Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Assamese will also be launched. The Head of the Bengali Departments, Mamta Das Sharma will be the co-ordinator for the Indian Languages.The foreign languages offered will be French, German, Russian, Chinese and more recently Japanese, Spanish and Korean. The University believes that these courses will be most beneficial to BPO employees, people working for Diplomatic Service and of course, language enthusiasts.
