• Improvement of sentences - This topic is an extension of the 'spot the error' topic where the candidate has to correct the grammatical errors of the sentence and make sure that the option they choose is concise and clear.

Reading Comprehension

Reading Comprehension is one of the most important topics in the English Language and Comprehension section in various exams. Since this is a scoring topic, the candidates have to work on preparation for the comprehension passage. They also have to ensure that they use the time provided efficiently and allot a specific time for this topic.

Sentence Rearrangement

Sentence rearrangement is a significant part of the English Language section. The candidates are provided with sentences that are jumbled, and they have to put them in the correct form. Usually, sentences or paragraphs are given in the question paper.

Vocabulary Usage

The chapter-wise analysis of the topic of vocabulary usage is as follows:

• Synonyms and Antonyms: The candidates have to find words that mean similar or opposite to the word asked in the question paper. For example, if they ask the synonym of the word 'good,' the answer is fine or pleasant, and if they ask the antonym of the word 'good, the answer is bad or poor.
