Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad
Gujarat Technological University was established in 2007 by the government of Gujarat. , Gujarat Technological University was the prime university of Gujarat state heading all colleges including technical colleges. GTU offers courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Arch, MAM, MBA, M.Phil, BHMCT, MCA, and Ph.D. The University is accredited by the NBA and NAAC. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar is one of the new IITs started from the year 2008-09. Currently, the Institute is operating from the premises of the Vishwakarma Government Engineering College. IIT Gandhinagar currently offers a B. Tech program in Chemical, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering disciplines. National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad
The institute functions as an autonomous body under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. For admission in NID Ahmedabad, candidates need to clear two stages of the Design Aptitude Test (DAT)—prelims and mains, held within the campus. Established in 1949, Gujarat University is a public state university. The university is an affiliating university at the undergraduate level and a teaching university at the postgraduate level. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked Gujarat University 60th overall in India and 44th among universities in 2020. Gujarat University offers plenty of specialized undergraduate, postgraduate & research courses. Admission to the university is either merit-based (for UG) courses or entrance-based for other courses. Top Universities in Gujarat Eligibility Criteria 2024
The admission process for all courses in Gujarat is expected to begin in June. Candidates who are applying for any course in the Colleges/ Institutes in Gujarat must have these minimum requirements:
- The candidate must have passed Class 12th in relevant subjects from Gujarat Board, CBSE, ICSE, or any other state board.
- Under rule 20 Students who are appearing for supplementary examination are also eligible for admission in the current academic year as per the vacant seats declared.
- Candidates who qualify for the examination other than the Gujarat or CBSE board shall have to obtain Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from Gujarat University before registration.
