About UPSSSC
The state agency authorised to conduct civil service examinations for postings to different Group C and Group D jobs is the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). The UPSSSC administers numerous examinations throughout the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission was established by the terms of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Act 2014. (often shortened to UPSSSC Act 2014). The present commission was established in response to the recognition of the need for a recruiting campaign to attract persons to Group 'C' and Group 'D' posts within state departments.
Candidates who achieve the cut off marks in the UPSSSC PET exam will be eligible to take the UPSSSC Mains exam. UPSSSC has made it mandatory for candidates to sit for the UPSSSC PET test for posts under the jurisdiction of UPSSSC such as UP Lekhpal, Junior Assistant, X-Ray Technician, and so on. Furthermore, the UPSSSC PET result is valid for one year from the date the scorecard is declared.
