West Delhi Academy takes admission for aspiring candidates above the age of 14, and the selection trials take place before taking the candidate into the academy. Every week, a lot of aspiring players participate in these trials to get selected in the academy.

In West Delhi Cricket Academy, coaches are very strict and expect punctuality from all their players. Students can not be late for the coaching. In case of the leave request, the player must inform the coaches before the day itself. In West Delhi Cricket Academy, students must follow all the rules and regulations carefully, and with utmost honesty, coaches and management teams follow a zero-tolerance policy.
Following are some rules and regulations to follow in WDCA:
- All the players must be willing to give their 100% for cricket to be a part of the WDCA academy.
- There are trials conducted every Thursday of the week for accepting new candidates into the academy.
- Candidates from 7 to 14 need not go through the selection process or trials and can join directly.
- The coaches have the power to decide the time for each candidate to play in the matches.
- The performance of the candidate chooses this playtime during the training days.
- All the candidates have to approach the coaches for any feedback on playtime, etc. Quarrelling or any arguments with others are not at all entertained in the academy.
- The registration fee might be returned if you want to drop it off in between, but that fee will not be refunded at any given time.
- Candidates will be pushed hard to change their mindsets from individual glory and performance to team glory and team performance.
- The candidates have the responsibility to play with all the safety equipment required for the game.
