AFCAT 2 2022 Exam Begins Today – Check Exam Day Instructions
IAF will conduct the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT 2 2022 Exam over 3 days, 26, 27 and 28 August, at centres across the country.
AFCAT 2 2022 Exam: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT 2 2022 exam starting on 26 August. The exam will happen over 3 days, 26, 27 and 28 August, at centres across the country.
The AFCAT admit card was released on 10 August on the official website of the IAF. The exam day instructions were also announced along with the admit card. The candidates must strictly adhere to these instructions on the exam day.
Exam Timings for AFCAT 2 2022 Exam
The candidate must take note of the timings of various activities that are part of attending the exam:

AFCAT 2 2022 Exam Day Guidelines:
The following are the AFCAT 2022 exam day guidelines for candidates:
- The reporting time is 7:30 AM for Shift 1 and 12:30 AM for Shift 2. Candidates must report in batches of time slots mentioned on the admit card.
- Authorities will not entertain any request for a change of exam centre or date of AFCAT 2 2022 exam.
- Before proceeding to the exam centre, Candidates must put only the thumb impression on the admit card. Candidates must sign on the admit card before the invigilator(s).
- At the AFCAT exam centre, candidates will be subject to frisking, verification process, biometrics, identification and inspection of admit card, ID proof, photograph, signature, etc.
- Candidates must have a back-to-back printout of the AFCAT 2 admit card 2022.
- Candidates need to bring the following things to the AFCAT 2022 exam centre:

- AFCAT admit card
- Candidate’s Aadhaar Card
- Another valid photo identity card such as PAN card/passport/Driving
- License/Voter’s ID card or any other valid photo identity proof with details of name, father’s name and date of birth
- Two passport-size colour photographs
- Ballpoint pen (blue or black) for signing on the attendance sheet and rough work
- Barred Items – Candidates are prohibited from carrying any of the following items into the exam centre:

- Bluetooth device, communication/ electronic/ digital/ wireless devices such as calculators, docupen, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, cellular phone, memory card/ stick, pager, organizer, personal digital assistant(PDA), concealed microphone or camera, earphones, radio, headset, walkman, recorder, translator, etc
- Pencil-box, book, geometry box, paper, log tables, clipboard, slide rule, etc.
- Personal items including wrist watches/wristbands, bracelets, handbags, ornaments, wallets, purses, headgear, scarf, goggles, jackets, and eatables items.
- Dress Code:

- Only slippers/sandals with flat heels are permitted.
- Closed footwear such as shoes is not allowed.
- Clothes with large buttons are not allowed.
- Candidates wearing attire for religious purposes will be thoroughly frisked.
- During the verification process, the Candidate’s colour photograph will be taken.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before completing the entire duration of AFCAT/EKT.
- Examiners will provide candidates with an A4 sheet for rough work. If additional sheets are required, candidates can request the examiner. Candidates are required to write their names and particulars on the rough sheets. When leaving the exam hall, they must be dropped in the drop box/handed over to the staff.
Only For EKT Candidates
- After the AFCAT 2 2022 exam, candidates registered for EKT will continue to be seated in the exam hall to appear in the EKT
- Candidates are required to attempt the EKT question paper as per the stream mentioned in the admit card
