Allahabad University 2021 Term Examinations Cancelled
Allahabad University has cancelled offline term examinations in 2021 for all even-numbered semesters (2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th term).
Allahabad University has cancelled offline term examinations in 2021 for the previous even-numbered semesters (2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th term). The institute has confirmed that this cancellation will apply for all university-affiliated colleges. Earlier, the term assessments were to take place in an offline testing mode within the spring of 2021. However, AU officials finalised this decision after a committee organised by the university. The cancellation is in an attempt to mitigate COVID-19 related risks, due to the high-density of students required within college building to conduct the tests.
Allahabad University released an announcement regarding this update through social media on the institute’s official Twitter account. Students will now receive marks formulated from internal assessments, including labs, presentations, projects, etc. The candidates will then receive promotions based on their internal assessment grades. AU students can learn further information on the university’s official website, allduniv.ac.in
In addition, offline classes within Allahabad University for the upcoming academic term will commence after the Diwali holidays, from 17 December 2021. Lessons will take place in an offline-online hybrid format. Therefore, all offline learning will be optional, although encouraged. Furthermore, the university has affirmed that all activities on campus must take place under strict adherence to COVID-19 safety guidelines. Annual assessments will occur after the second week of March 2022 in an offline testing mode.
