CAT 2021 Registration Process Begins Online

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has officially released the CAT 2021 application form today, on 4 August 2021. Hence, the CAT registration facility is now available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. In addition, applicants can submit their applications by 5 PM on 15 September 2021. IIM Ahmedabad will conduct the CAT exam on 28 November 2021 in computer-based mode.

However, the university has advised candidates to go through the CAT eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Firstly, applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Additionally, candidates must have scored a minimum 50% aggregate score in their undergraduate programme. However, reserved category candidates should have obtained a 45% minimum total result in their bachelor’s degree.

Steps to Fill Out the CAT 2021 Application

Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for the Common Admission Test 2021.

1. Visit – iimcat.ac.in, the official website.
2. Then, click on the “Register” button on the homepage.
3. Next, enter your name, email address, mobile number and country in the CAT registration form.
4. Then, click on the “Generate OTP” tab to proceed.
5. Afterwards, log in to your account using the generated login credentials sent on the registered email ID.
6. Then, fill out the academic/ qualification details, professional degree details, personal details, communication details, etc. in the CAT application form.
7. Next, upload all the required documents.
8. Then provide work experience details (if any).
9. Afterwards, choose up to six CAT test centres in order of preference.
10. Then, pay the CAT application fee in an online mode.
11. Finally, review and submit the form.
