CAT 2023 Results to Be Accepted for IIFT Admission 2024
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade will accept CAT 2023 results for 2024 batch admissions. IIFT entrance exam 2024 will not be conducted by NTA anymore.
IIFT Admission 2024: The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade at Delhi and Kolkata have decided the accept CAT 2023 eligible candidates for the IIFT MBA admission 2024-25. Likewise, NTA will not be conducting the IIFT Entrance Examination anymore.
Interested candidates must register for CAT 2023 examination by Sep 13 and should also apply separately for IIFT admission 2024 by September last week. As per the latest updates made by IIFT official authorities, IIFT admission criteria have been revised and have made CAT 2023 exam mandatory for MBA (IB) Admission 2024.
The official notification of IIFT stated that "Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will accept only CAT 2023 exam score for admission to MBA (IB) 2024-26 batch for its Delhi and Kolkata campuses and has cancelled the present IIFT entrance exam conducted by NTA. It is a big step in the IIFT admission process 2024 and is good news for CAT aspirants as they do not need to separately appear in the IIFT entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency".
IIFT official notification further stated that “From Academic Year 2024-25, for admission to IIFT’s two years MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) programmes, the Institute will consider the score of CAT 2023. Candidates will be shortlisted for the second round of the admission process i.e. WAT/Group Discussion/Extempore/Personal Interview etc. of MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) programmes on the basis of their CAT Score and other parameters. Therefore, to take IIFT admission 2024 to IIFT’s MBA(IB) and MBA(BA) 2024-26 programmes, it is mandatory for all the aspirants to have a valid CAT 2023 score.”
Furthermore, the CAT examination 2023 will be held on Nov 26. Candidates must register for the CAT 2023 examination by Sep 13.
