CAT Application Form 2022
The Common Admission Test (CAT 2022) registration will commence at 10 am on 3 August, 2022. The CAT 2022 application process will close on 14 September, 2022. First, the candidate’s mobile number and email address are verified through the OTP process. Then, they will get the user ID and password to complete the registration process.
The CAT application fee for general category candidates is INR 2,300 and INR 1,150 for reserved category students.

How to the Fill Application Form?
Students can check the steps to fill out the application form below.
- First, candidates have to click on the CAT 2022 application process link.
- Then they should log in using their user id and password.
- The next step is to enter their name, address, academic qualification and other details.
- Candidates need to pay the application fee and submit the form
- They can download the form and take a printout for further reference.
Documents Required for CAT Application Form
The following are the mandatory documents for CAT Registration 2022.
- Scanned mark sheets of class 10th, 12th, bachelor’s/master’s degree, diploma etc.
- Work experience documents
- Scanned passport size photo and signature
- Other required documents as mentioned in the application process.
Who Can Apply for CAT 2022?
The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent overall marks. Alternatively, they can possess equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to apply for CAT 2022. However, students belonging to reserved category candidates (SC, ST, or PWD) must have a minimum of 45 percent marks. Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree courses can also apply for CAT 2022.
CAT 2022 exam is scheduled for 27 November in three sessions of two hours each. The CAT 2022 questions will be from quantitative ability, verbal ability, reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical thinking. CAT 2022 admit card will be available to download from 27 October. In addition, candidates can download hall tickets on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
