CBSE Class 12 Marksheet 2022 Decoded: Class 12 Board Result 2022 – Abbreviations
Here are the full forms of the abbreviations and their meanings:
- RT (Repeat Theory)- Students who have RT against a subject must take the theory paper during the compartment exams. For instance, students who did not achieve the necessary 33% on the theoretical paper would receive an RT.
- RL (Results Later)- Introduced in 2020, the board may use this abbreviation if the mark sheet did not contain the student’s information or if there was an error.
- COMP (Compartment)- Students who did not meet the required passing criteria in one subject would be placed in Compartment. However, those who have obtained the required 33 per cent overall in 5 subjects must take a compartment test for the exam they did not pass. CBSE will provide the compartment test schedule soon.
- XXXX (Improvement)- This is for students who have taken six subjects, failed one, and scored at least 33 per cent in the other five. These students may show up as private candidates for the subject marked for improvement in the following year’s board exam. The improvement paper is not mandatory, and students are considered ”Pass” in the board examination.
