CBSE 12th Results 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE Class 12 board exam results today, 22 July 2022. The board had requested schools to limit their students’ grades to ensure fairness in the evaluation process and a cap on the number of students receiving scores of 95 or above.

While some institutions only accept students who have demonstrated merit, other colleges need entrance tests. Here is a list of colleges along with their requirements for undergraduate (UG) admission:

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)

The IITs provide a variety of engineering courses leading to the bachelor’s degree. All Indian and foreign applicants are admitted to the undergraduate programmes at these IITs through the JEE Advanced exam. The candidate must pass JEE Main before registering for this exam. Only those with the top 2.5 lakh rankings can take the JEE Advanced exam.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)

Students need not worry about their class 12th marks to apply for admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University because entrance examinations are held for all of its UG programmes. The registration period will start on 27th July 2022 and end on 27th August 2022.

Delhi University (DU)

Beginning August 2, the University of Delhi (DU) will make the application forms for its undergraduate programmes available. For the benefit of prospective students, the university said it would maintain the admissions procedure from last year, based on the top four grades students receive in their 12th-grade exams, in light of the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Calcutta University (CU)

Calcutta University has already started accepting applications for its undergraduate and graduate programmes. The second week of June marked the start of UG course admission, and students still have until the first week of July to submit applications. The university has its own admissions test, but the dates have not yet been made public. Calcutta University also accepts WBJEE results for admission to BTech programmes.

Jadavpur University (JU)

JU bases admission to the BA, BCom, and BSc programmes on a student’s merit. The university accepts WBJEE scores for BE and BTech programmes. The WBJEE test is given on material covered in classes 11 and 12, and it consists of two papers: one for mathematics and one for physics.

Jamia Millia Islamia

All applicants to Jamia’s courses must pass an admission exam based on merit or class 12 grades. Even though the exam dates have not been made public, the university is likely to proceed as usual. The application procedure is already open online and will run until June 30. The deadline for turning in class 12 grades is September 30.

Hyderabad University

On its official website, the university has already begun to accept online applications for some UG programmes. The deadline for online applications for any UG courses is July 20. After an entrance exam is administered in both online and offline formats at 39 locations across the nation, the admissions will be decided.

Indraprastha University

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has started the online registration process through its official website. The application date for any undergraduate programme is July 15. However, the admissions department will use JEE Mains, NATA, and NEET to determine admission to BTech, BArch, and medical disciplines, respectively.

Jamia Hamdard

One must pass the JEE Main test if he/she wants to enrol in Jamia Hamdard’s BTech programme. One will be able to enrol in the BTech programme based on how well he/she performs on the exam. While admissions for the BA, BBA, BCA, and BCom programmes will be based on the results of the class 12 exam, the requirements for those programmes will change.
