CBSE Allows CTET 2022 Candidates for a Second Attempt
CBSE has allowed candidates who could not complete or attempt the CTET 2021 paper 1 to reappear for the test on 17 January 2022.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed candidates to reappear for the CTET 2022 on 17 January 2022. Therefore, candidates who could not complete or attempt the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) paper 1 held on 16 December can reappear again.
Hence, applicants can download the revised CTET admit cards on the official website ctet.nic.in. According to the schedule, the board has informed the candidates to download their revised admit cards to appear at their respective centres. CBSE has also informed candidates that they will not entertain the request for a change of examination city, examination centre, and date of examination.
On 11 January, the board had released the new dates for the postponed CTET 2022. Previously, officials were going to conduct the exams on 16 (Shift 2) and 17 (both shifts) December 2021. However, officials will now conduct the CTET on 17 and 21 January, respectively. As per the CBSE’s latest notice, “It is noticed that some of the candidates could not complete/attempt the examination of paper 1 (first shift) on16/12/2021 due to technical issues. Such candidates are hereby informed that their examination of paper 1 will be conducted on 17/01/2022 (Monday) in the second shift, i.e. 2.30 PM to 5 PM”.
