CBSE Board Exams 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to provide a special opportunity to students competing in national/ international sporting events and Olympiads. If the student’s CBSE board exams 2023 clash with the dates of their events, the conducting authorities at CBSE have agreed to hold a special examination for them later. These clashes include travel dates for competitions sanctioned by the Sports Authority of India and the Board of Cricket Control in India.

Rules To Apply For Later CBSE Board Exams 2023
Here is the list of rules one must adhere to, in order to apply for special CBSE board exams 2023 conducted later.
- First, this initiative only applies to the sports recognized by the SAI/ BCCI and Olympiads recognized by the HBCSE.
- Then, the concerned exams are only the Board’s main theory that falls during the dates of events of that particular Sport/ Olympiad in the participating event or even the journey period for the event.
- Remember that this opportunity will not be available for compartment examinations, practical examinations/ projects / internal assessments.
- As a result, these candidates will not be permitted to appear in the compartment examination since all subjects of class-XII examinations are conducted only in one day. Likewise, Class-X examinations are held weekly for only special combinations of the subjects.
- Next, there will be no exemptions in attendance beyond the Board's rules.
- Significantly, this opportunity is unavailable for student participation in training/ selection camps.
- Further, the “Certificate of Participation” from the SAI/ BCCI / HBCSE must be submitted in the specified format to be issued by the nodal officers of the concerned organization only.
- Remember that CBSE can amend these SOPs and Rules at any time regarding the CBSE board exams 2023.
- Furthermore, the Head of the schools or responsible organizations will forward recommendations/ issue certificates of participation for the concerned students to Regional Offices, CBSE. Applying to the students whose cases strictly fall within the purview of these instructions/ SOPs.
- Moreover, no special examination for an individual student will be conducted other than the schedule for special examination as fixed by the Board.
- Additionally, it is crucial for the authorities at SAI/ BCCI/ HBCSE to host the certificate of participation on their website for cross-verification.
- Also, the certificates of participation must be issued by the Nodal officers of the concerned organizations.
- Know that the decisions of the Competent Authority of the Board shall be final and binding on both; schools and students.
- Most importantly, no request beyond the CBSE schedule 2022 will be accepted for exemption.
Per the announcement, the rescheduled CBSE board exams 2023 will be conducted within 15 days from the exam, according to the date sheet of the main board examinations. Moreover, the school authorities will bring these instructions and SOPs to the student's notice well in time for them to avail the provided benefit. Note that this opportunity is only for students likely to participate in a National / International Sports Event/ International Olympiads. The CBSE board exams 2023 will not be postponed for any personal reasons of the students under this initiative.
