CBSE Class 10th, 12th Exams 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice regarding the CBSE class 10th, 12th exams 2023 subject marks break up and practical details on the official CBSE website- cbse.gov.in.
As per the official circular, the practical exams for classes 10 and 12 will begin from Jan 1, 2023, and theory exams for both classes will be held from Feb 15, 2023. According to the circular, CBSE wants to help schools conduct practical exams efficiently. To that purpose, a list of subject-wise marks breakdowns and information about practical exams has been released.

The list includes the subject name, subject code, maximum score for theory exams, maximum score for practical exams, maximum score for project assessment, whether or not an external examiner will be appointed for practical/project assessment, whether or not the board will provide a practical answer book, and the type of answer book that will be used for theory exams.
According to the CBSE class 10th, 12th exams 2023 official notice, no external examiner will be provided for class 10 exams, but for CBSE class 12, the board will appoint external examiners. For class 10, there are a total of 76 subjects, and for class 12, there are 115. There are five exams that students must take, both compulsory and optional.
