The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will publish the class 12 results today, 30 July 2021, at 2 PM. Hence, candidates can check their scorecards on the official websites (cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in). However, students must first log into the website portal using their registered student roll number to view their marks.Alternatively, DigiLocker’s website (digilocker.gov.in) and the mobile application will also host class 12 mark sheets. In addition, the DigiLocker application will publish CBSE passing certificates, migration documents, and scorecards.
Students can obtain their CBSE documentation from the app by selecting the “CBSE” tab under the “Education” section of the landing screen. This year, the board will only issue physical migration certificates at the request of students. Otherwise, candidates can indefinitely access soft copies of their documents on DigiLocker. Last year, almost all of the CBSE board assessments took place under strict safety guidelines before the COVID-19 lockdown intensified.
However, the board cancelled the 2021 board exams due to the coronavirus resurgence within the country. Hence, CBSE officials formulated this year’s class 12 board results based on alternative evaluation criteria in place of exams. A 13-person committee devised the criteria framework, which features a weightage ratio of 30:40:30. Therefore, 30% weightage will derive from class 10 scores, 30% from class 11 marks, and 40% from class 12 internal assessment results. In addition, there will be an optional in-person examination for students dissatisfied with the new evaluation criteria. This assessment will take place when conditions are conducive.
