CFA Level 1 Exam 2023: Seven New Exam Centres Added, Feb Session Exam Day 1 Today
CFA Institute will conduct the CFA Level 1 Exam 2023 from today, Feb 14, to Feb 20. Additionally, 7 new CFA Exam Centres 2023 in India has been announced.
CFA Level 1 Exam 2023: The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute will conduct the CFA Level 1 Exam 2023 from today, Feb 14, to Feb 20. Moreover, registration for the CFA Level 1 & 2 Exam 2023 for the November session is now open. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam must visit the official website to do so and complete the process before the deadline.
The institute has announced the addition of 7 new CFA Exam Centres 2023 in India at Coimbatore, Surat, Raipur, Ranchi, Nagpur, Noida, and Visakhapatnam for the next sessions.

CFA Level 1 Exam 2023: Details Of the Exam
The CFA Level 1 February Exam 2023 will have 180 MCQ-type questions. The exam will be split between two 135 minutes sessions, with an optional break in between. The topics covered in the two sessions will be as follows:
- Session 1: Ethics & professional standards, quantitative methods, economics, and financial statement analysis
- Session 2: Corporate issuers, equity, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments and portfolio management
Furthermore, over the past 10 years, the average pass percentage for the level 1 CFA exam has been 41%.

However, Level 2 will be based on vignette-supported MCQs, and Level 3 exams will be based on vignette-supported essay questions and vignette-supported MCQs. The average pass percentage for CFA level 2 and 3 exams over the past ten years has been 45% and 52%, respectively.
