The consortium of NLUs has issued exam day guidelines for the CLAT 2021 examination. The NLU entrance exam will take place on 23 July 2021 in pen and paper-based testing mode. The CLAT guidelines include regulations on allowed and prohibited items within the exam hall, proper testing location conduct, admit card specifications, and other exam centre-related details.
The consortium has also instructed students to reach the CLAT exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. Additionally, invigilators will not allow students to enter the examination hall 15 minutes after the start of the CLAT exam. Moreover, the consortium requires students to carry their CLAT admit card and valid ID proof to the examination centre.
CLAT 2021 Exam Day Guidelines
The board allows students to carry the following list of items into the examination hall.
- Blue or black ballpoint pen
- Admit card
- Any original photo ID proof issued by the Government.
- Transparent water bottle.
- Candidate’s own mask, gloves and personal hand sanitizer.
- Self-health declaration
- Disability certificate for PWD candidates
Exam Day Guidelines – Prohibited Items
The guidelines prohibit students from carrying the following objects to the exam centre.
- Electronic/communication devices such as mobile phones, watches, etc.
- All calculators, headphones, etc.
- Sheets of paper, including blank sheets.
COVID-19 Related Guidelines
Examination authorities expect candidates to adhere to the mandated COVID-19 guidelines during the CLAT exam
- Students who have recently tested COVID-19 positive and are under medical surveillance or isolation should not appear for the CLAT exam.
- Students should carry their masks and sanitisers and maintain social distancing during the exam.
- The board requires that students show their duly filled and signed medical self-declaration to the staff at the entrance.
