The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is scheduled for June 19, 2022, across 80 cities nationwide. Therefore, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has recently released the exam CLAT 2022 exam instructions and admit cards. Candidates can download their CLAT admit cards by visiting the official NLU website. Moreover, the students must note that the CLAT admit card is a mandatory document to carry to the exam hall. CLAT 2022 Exam Day Instructions
Before giving the exam, students must know about the basic guidelines and instructions they need to follow before and during the exam. Below are the exam instructions about the exam reporting time, Do’s and Don’ts, etc.
CLAT Exam Reporting Time
The candidates must report to the CLAT exam hall at least 45 minutes before the exam time to check their room numbers and seats. Furthermore, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam.
Important Items to Carry
Students must keep all the important things ready one day before the exam. Mentioned below are the important things that the students need to carry with them in the exam hall:
- CLAT Admit Card
- Photo Identity Proof issued by Government
- Hand Sanitizers
- Face masks
- Hand gloves
- Transparent Water Bottle
- Blue/Black Ballpoint Pen
- Medical Self Declaration Form CLAT (Candidates have to sign this declaration form and have to carry it in the exam hall)
Prohibited Items
Electronic devices such as Digital watches, Mobile phones, or Study material in the exam hall are not permitted. If the candidate uses them or any unfair means in the exam room, they will be disqualified from the exam.
CLAT 2022 exam day: Do’s and Don’ts
Do’s
- Read the question paper carefully before answering.
- Only use a Black/blue ball pen to fill the OMR sheet.
- The students must shade the OMR sheet properly without leaving any space.
- Do revise your answers before leaving the exam hall.
- Also, do follow covid protocols at the exam venue.
Don’ts
- Do not attempt the doubtful questions to avoid negative markings.
- Do not spend too much time asking questions.
- Avoid reading new topics just before giving the exam.
