The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) has postponed the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 to 19 June 2022.
The Consortium of National Law Universities has postponed the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 to 19 June. The Consortium has also rescheduled the deadline to apply for CLAT to 9 May. Previously, officials had scheduled to conduct the exam on 8 May. Thus, candidates can fill in the application form on the website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Candidates can send any request for assistance or clarifications to the email ID – clat@consortiumofnlus.ac.in and phone number – 080-47162020 (between 10 am to 5 pm on all working days.
Steps to Fill in CLAT 2022 Application Form
Officials have released the application forms for CLAT on the website. Thus, applicants can follow the steps given below to fill-up the form.
- Visit the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Then, click on the “CLAT 2022” link.
- Afterwards, register as a new user.
- Fill out the CLAT application form by entering personal, academic details, communication details along with NLU preferences.
- Complete the application process by submitting the CLAT registration fee.
- Finally, submit the form.

The Consortium has also elected Poonam Saxena, Vice-Chancellor, National Law University, Jodhpur, as Vice President of the new CLAT executive committee. In addition, V C Vivekanandan, Vice-Chancellor, Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, has been elected CLAT Convenor.
In the previous session, authorities conducted the CLAT exam on 26 July 2021 in more than 80 cities across the country. Officials had completed the admission process by 23 August 2021. Twenty-two national law universities will accept the scores of CLAT 2022 for admission to the five-year integrated LLB programmes and one-year LLM courses.
