Consortium of NLUs to Hold CLAT 2023 Only Once on Dec 18 for 5-Year Integrated BA, LLB, LLM Courses
The Consortium has announced that the CLAT 2023 exam will only take place on Dec 18, 2022, for the session of 2023-24. New registrations are a must for candidates who appeared for CLAT 2022.
CLAT 2023: The Consortium of National Law Universities has made announcements concerning admissions to 5-year integrated BA, LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses for 2023-24. The announcement by the Consortium asserts that the 22 NLU institutes will grant admissions for the programmes mentioned above only through CLAT 2023, which will take place on Dec 18, 2022.
However, it states that the exam will take place once annually for admissions to each academic year. The Consortium has decided that no more than one exam will be permitted per session, such as a second CLAT or any other variation.

Therefore, all CLAT aspirants must complete 2023-24 session registrations by Nov 13, 2022. At the same time, candidates who had earlier appeared for CLAT 2022 but did not succeed in securing seats at their preferred college can re-appear for CLAT 2023 through fresh registrations. Likewise, students of Classes 12 who are taking the Board exams in May 2023 can also apply for the entrance examination.

The Consortium will analyse the sample papers for the CLAT entrance exam 2023 tomorrow, Nov 5, 2022. Candidates who wish to register for the sample paper analysis session can log in to the CLAT portal using their credentials.
