CUET 2022: DU to Give Extra Time in Each Section for PDB Candidates
Extra 15 minutes will be given in both the sections of CUET 2022 to PwBD candidate appearing for admission to Delhi University.
DU has recently announced that for CUET 2022, they will allow additional time for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates. The authorities will allow an additional 65 minutes for PDB applicants. The exam consists of 4 sections. These candidates will receive an extra 15 minutes for each of Section IA, Section IB, and Section II (27 domain-specific subjects). Section III (general test) will get 20 additional minutes.
Additional time is being given to assist those with physical limitations.
In a webinar, Haneet Gandhi, Dean (admissions), informed that PBD (i.e., person with a benchmark disability of 40% or more) candidates who have physical limitations to writing, including that speed, will only be allowed the facility to use the services of a scribe.
In the first shift, candidates can write 1 language, 2 domain-based papers, and the general test. Candidates can attempt the remaining 4 domain-specific subjects and section 1B for the second shift. A candidate can appear for CUET in not more than six subjects; one of these must be a language subject.

DU to accept CUET 2022 Scores
This is the first time that DU will accept admission through CUET. They selected students based on the cut-off in Class 12 board exams. The authorities will conduct CUET 2022 in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.
Also, NTA has extended the application deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 until May 22. This year, CUET has become mandatory for admission to all the central universities. The authorities will conduct CUET in two shifts. The university will conduct an e-counseling after announcing the results. Candidates can then select their preferred colleges, and based on their marks, the administration will allow the colleges.
