CUET 2022 Results Announced: Participating Universities to Create Their Individual Admission Lists

CUET Result 2022: The Common University Entrance Test results for Undergraduate programs are now available on the official website. Although the CUET UG 2022 Result was going to release yesterday, authorities could not manage to release it yesterday due to the huge database load this year. Hence, the board took the results out today, September 16.

Importantly, each university must prepare its own merit list to decide the criteria based on CUET scores and select students for the counselling rounds. The CUET debut witnessed 60% attendance out of all the applications received this year. CUET is now among the top three entrance exams in India.

Apart from this, the equi-percentile method is the basis for measuring the CUET Result 2022 of every examinee. In this method, each candidate’s normalisation marks are calculated through the percentiles per group of students in a given session across several days for the same subject.

Similarly, for many subjects, CUET UG took place in several shifts. For the shifts, question papers, too, were different. Therefore, maintaining the same level of difficulty was challenging. However, efforts were made to retain the same complexity level across question papers.

Since, it is not humanly possible to regulate question paper difficulty level, some might have even gotten a slightly more difficult paper than the others. Consequently, students who attempted a tougher question paper have a possibility of scoring lower marks in their CUET Result 2022. Though each student’s scores vary, the normalisation method makes it open to comparisons.

Additional Information

Earlier, the exams were going to end on August 20. But, due to the appearance of several technical glitches, there was further delay. The exam took place in six shifts to accommodate all the candidates. Besides, there were other problems like cancellation of exams, overlapping dates, and inaccuracies in the admit card, which led to the postponement of exams CUET Result 2022 and Exams.
