CUET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now decided that the college admission test must be completed within 2 weeks. The NTA director, Subodh Kumar Singh, has taken this decision in light of better conduct and delivery of the CUET 2024 exams by the universities and the students.
As per the NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh, students are allowed to choose up to 10 subjects for their undergraduate admissions, but now NTA has decided that they should focus on only five or six subjects for their chosen programs. This will reduce the overall syllabus of the CUET exams.
He also confirmed that the results dates and complete schedule will also be released by the NTA during the time of the CUET 2024 registration process which will help the participating universities to plan their complete exam cycle.
Manojranjan Nayak, the founder president of Siksha O Anusandhan in Odisha, stated that his university will join CUET-UG 2024. He also highlighted that the CUET 2024 scores will be accepted for NEET and JEE (Main) exams as well.
A member of the advisory committee also stated that the syllabus for domain and language subjects will also follow a simplified and rationalized curriculum to help students cover their syllabus more efficiently.
