CUET UG 2022: NTA Cancels Phase 4 Exam at a Few Centres on Wednesday

CUET UG 2022: The fourth phase of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022 got postponed due to reporting of technical glitches on Wednesday at a few centers. Among centers where the exam got cancelled was Guru Hargobind Institute of Management and Information Technology in Delhi, Asia Pacific Institute in Jasola (Delhi) AIS Assessment Zone, Aakash International Senior Secondary School in Delhi’s Nangloi region and JNM College Khushal Nagar in Varanasi.

Several data centres experienced server issues. Retests will be given to affected candidates. The morning session was successful in all other centres, including those in remote locations. M. Jagadesh Kumar, chairman of the UGC, said.
The NTA has taken a number of steps, including extra technical staff, additional sample exams at exam centres, and enhanced server capacity, to ensure a smooth conduct of the fourth phase of CUET UG 2022, according to a last week’s UGC announcement.
However, issues persisted on Wednesday. Students who were to appear for the CUET UG 2022 exam at Vivekananda Institute in Delhi’s Pitampura area have alleged that the exam started three hours late due to technical issues. Numerous students also asserted that their exam location was abruptly changed from Pitampura to Faridabad, and that they discovered the switch only after arriving at their original exam location.
