The NTA has announced that CUET will be conducted twice a year from 2023. The syllabus remains the same. However, the pattern will change.
The education ministry officials have recently stated that NTA will conduct CUET twice a year from 2023 onwards. The officials have also given other details, such as information regarding the exam pattern. The question paper pattern will change every year. The syllabus, meanwhile, will remain the same as in Class 12.
The move comes in line with the National Education Policy 2020. NTA will share the final details later on. In case they are not satisfied with their marks, candidates can make another attempt. Meanwhile, the reason for keeping a flexible exam pattern is to keep the coaching centres from predicting the pattern. But the class 12 content will remain as the constant syllabus for the exam.
Also, NTA will extend the registration deadline. Meanwhile, the TOI reported that the authorities would announce the CUET 2022 for postgraduate admissions next week.
NTA has tentatively scheduled CUET 2022 in two phases. The authorities will conduct phase 1 between the last week of May & first week of June. Then, they will conduct phase 2 in the first or second week of July.
