Delhi University Admission 2022: Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS)
DU Admissions 2022 will be through the CSAS in three phases – Firstly, submission of the application form, filling of preferences and seat allocation and admission. Seats will allocate on the basis of the merit list, per the University’s guidelines.
“Under the new system, one central portal will be responsible for admission to all undergraduate programs of all colleges. Admission will be done as per rules and guidelines in the Common Seat Allocation System,” as stated by an official.
“Students must also make a one-time non-refundable payment towards the CSAS-2022 application fee. Candidates who will be applying under the Extracurricular Activity (ECA) and/or under the sports quota will pay additional fees. The second phase of the admission process will start after the declaration of CUET(UG) 2022 results. A candidate will have to select program in which they want to take admission. Then, they will have to confirm the programme-specific CUET (UG) merit score for all the selected programs,” the official added.

Finally, The third phase of the DU Admissions 2022 will be conducted through a merit list. If two or more candidates have the same CUET merit score, the candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks (for the best three subjects of Class 12) will be given preference. The older candidate will be given preference if the score is still tied. Therefore, the entire process will take place through a central CSAS portal.
