Delhi University Might Cancel CUCET 2021
Notably, several sources have hinted that authorities will likely repeal the Central Universities Common Entrance Test for 2021. CUCET is a common entrance exam for aspirants seeking admissions to central universities. The exam facilitates the screening of potential undergraduate students for various courses alongside other assessments. Additionally, other entrance exams such as the JEE Main and NEET have been deferred due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence the CUCET would struggle to find an uncontested examination window.
If the central government goes ahead with conducting the CUCET 2021 exam, admission dates will change accordingly. However, the Ministry of Education has not arrived at a final decision as of yet. Hence, prospective students should continue to check for announcements regarding the final DU admissions schedule.
