DMER Cancels Document Verification for Round 1 of Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2022 Due to Protests
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), has cancelled the document verification for Round 1 of Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2022.
Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2022: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, has cancelled the document verification for Round 1 of the National Eligibility Entrance Test Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2022 in response to student protests against the bond policy and their alleged detention.
The counseling's first round of document verification was scheduled for Nov 2 to Nov 6, 2022.
An official statement, "In continuation of this public office notice, document verification schedule for Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2022 of Round 1 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in govt, govt aided, private medical and dental educational institutes in the state of Haryana, including those under private, minority universities - SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram, Al-Falah University and PDM University, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar for the academic session 2022-23 stands cancelled due to administrative reasons."
As per the DMR, the new schedule for document verification will soon be published on the official website uhsrugcounselling.com
At the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak last night, several medical students protested a bond of Rs 40 lakh. Police allegedly beat up students before taking them into custody. Doctor organizations like FORDA and FAIMA joined the students' cause and denounced the government for utilizing force on MBBS students.
