DU Admission 2022: Third Merit List to Be Out on Nov 10, Over 23,000 Students Opt to Upgrade Seats
The round 3 merit list for DU admission 2022 will release on Nov 10, 2022. Twenty-three thousand students chose to go for the upgradation option from round 2. Spot rounds will be conducted if there are still empty seats.
DU Admission 2022: Delhi University conducted the DU CSAS 2022 seat allocation process earlier this month, which resulted in 23,000 students opting for an upgradation instead of confirming the seats allocated to them through the second round. Apart from this, the University shut the DU admission 2022 registration window for DU mid-entry on Nov 7, 2022, which earlier began on Nov 5, 2022.
Only 30,662 students froze their seats. The University also announced the provision for candidates to explore options through a third phase if they did not apply or complete phases 1 and 2. Moreover, the University offers a total of 70,000 seats, out of which the number of seats filled through the second allocation is 15,550. Subsequently, DU upgraded 9626 candidates from the seats allotted to them through the first allocation. Similarly, 3806 DU admission in 2022 were freshly held.

Further, the University is set to release the third allocation list on Nov 10, 2022. Following this, applicants must accept their seats from Nov 11, 2022, to Nov 13, 2022. Consequently, the admission team requires candidates to pay the admission fee by Nov 15, 2022.
If seats are vacant even after the third round of seat allocation, then the University will conduct a Spot Admission round for the rest of the seats. The first allocation list through the spot round will be declared on Nov 17, 2022, for DU admission 2022. The window to apply for the spot admission round will be open for candidates from Nov 18, 2022, to Nov 19, 2022.
