GATE 2022 Application Correction Window Extended to 15 November

IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur has postponed the application correction deadline for the GATE 2022. Therefore, registrants can now modify their application form until 15 November. Previously, the board had scheduled the application correction window to take place from 1 to 12 November. The registration form editing facility is available entirely online on the official website, gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Steps to Use GATE 2022 Application Correction Facility

Successfully registered participants can now make changes to their application forms by 15 November. Therefore, interested candidates can follow the steps given below to use the modification facility.

1. Go to the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in
2. Then, click on the “Login” link available on the home page.
3. The website will then display a login portal.
4. Log in by providing details such as enrollment ID/email address and password in the given fields.
5. Complete the security code verification process and select the “Submit” button to proceed.
6. Make the necessary changes to the information within your application.
7. Finally, preview and submit the modified registration form.

Edit your Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2022 application form

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an annual national-level entrance test. Previously, the regular application submission window for the test was available to all eligible candidates from 2 to 30 September 2021. This year, the eligibility assessment will take place in an offline testing mode on 5, 6, 12, and 13 February 2022. Board officials will release admit cards for the exam virtually beforehand on 3 January. Recently, IIT Kharagpur has announced the removal of three testing locations – Idukki, Sonipat and Panipat.
