GCET 2021 Counselling Registration Open; Closes on 17 August

The Goa Directorate of Technical Education has opened the GCET 2021 counselling registration facility online. Hence, candidates can now apply for counselling on the official website, goa-degree-admissions.in, until 17 August 2021. In addition, students must upload copies of the required documents to the portal during the registration process. Candidates must also indicate their preferred programmes within the form to later facilitate seat allocation.

Earlier, officials conducted the Goa CET 2021 in a pen and paper-based testing mode on 29 and 30 July 2021. Afterwards, the board published the 2021 examination results in a PDF format on the official website on 3 August. A detailed schedule regarding merit list publication, seat allotment, and eligibility listing will be available shortly.

The Goa Directorate of Technical Education oversees the Goa CET. The GCET is an annual, state-level entrance examination. The assessment facilitates undergraduate admissions to BE, BTech, and BPharm programmes for affiliated institutions within Goa.

GCET 2021 Offline Registration

However, due to the decreasing number of COVID-19 cases, officials will also allow offline registration for GCET 2021 admissions counselling. Therefore, aspiring candidates should first print out the online registration form and attach other necessary documents to register in person. Then, applicants should submit the form between 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM from 10 to 17 August 2021. However, candidates cannot avail of in-person registration on Saturdays or Sundays.
