HPCET 2022 Applications Close Today, June 18: Here’s How to Apply
The application window for HPCET 2022 closes today. The application process, important dates and eligibility criteria are described below.
The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2022 application deadline is today, June 18. Candidates must check the eligibility requirements before applying for the state-based entrance exam. Interested candidates can apply for the exam at himtu.ac.in.
The exam authorities will conduct the entrance exam on July 10, 2022. The result is tentative to be released on July 20. The article explains the application process, important dates, eligibility criteria, and other details on the test.
How to Apply for HPCET 2022?
The application process is described as follows:
- Visit himtu.ac.in, the official website.
- Click on “Online Application Form HPCET 2022” on the homepage.
- Register and begin the application process.
- Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee. SC/ST/BPL candidates’ fee is INR 1400 and INR 1550 for other students.
- Review and then submit the form. Make a copy for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria for HPCET 2022
The eligibility criteria for various courses are given below:

B. Pharmacy (Direct Entry) | Passed/appeared in a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board or University with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, and one of the Mathematics/Biology, with at least 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in the above subjects taken together.

Each course’s examination will be conducted offline, consisting of purely objective-type multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer is worth two points, and each incorrect answer is worth causes a penalty of 0.5 points.
Important Points Regarding Conduct of Candidates
For admission to the examination room/hall, the candidate must show the e-admit card and I.D. proof on demand. A candidate without an e-admit card that the Controller of Examinations has electronically signed cannot take the exam.
Candidates must only attempt the subjects listed on their application form. If candidates attempt the incorrect subject combination, their candidature will be canceled.
Result and Grievance Redressal
The administration will post the HPCET-2022 answer key on the University website on the respective dates. The candidates must keep the following points in mind regarding the grievance relating to the question paper or answer key:
- Candidates can submit written complaints and supporting documents/solutions about the question paper/answer key.
- The complainant must send it to the Controller of Examinations’ office at H.P. Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur (H.P.)-177001.
- The deadline for receiving complaints is two days after the respective examinations, by 5:00 PM.

- After the due date and time, The authorities will not entertain complaints of any kind.
