The West has inculcated upgraded curriculums to bring out the best in students. The concept of the global village is in talk now, and even India is marching towards it. It is high time for India to adopt the International Curriculum to match the standard of the output produced in the West.

Indian Schools are on the verge of embracing the International Curriculum due to the enormous benefits it offers to students. Currently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) provides a prominent curriculum for private and public schools in India. However, International Curriculum (IC) is slowly penetrating Indian Schools.

The most prominent International Curriculum (IC) are the Cambridge Curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB). These two curricula are different from each other but effective at the same time. 

International Curriculum helps students to go global. Students can compete globally and improve their thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. As today's world is interconnected, it is important to learn about what is happening in the world. IC provides such good opportunities for students.

IC does not only have a subject-based curriculum but focuses wholly on the overall development of the students. Indian students can broaden their horizons and enhance their learning abilities. In future, an International Curriculum will open doors to various international opportunities for students. However, in a country like India, the government might not adopt the International Curriculum due to its established policies, but the private sector will wholeheartedly welcome IC.

India will surely adopt the International Curriculum in Indian Schools in the coming years. However, one must wait for how the government will react on the same.
