ICSE and ISC Semester 2 Timetable to Release After JEE Main Notification
CISCE will release the ICSE and ISC semester 2 timetables in the coming days after the release of JEE Main 2022 Notification.
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) will release the ICSE and ISC Semester 2 timetable in the coming days after JEE Main 2022 Notification release. CISCE Secretary Gerry Arathoon confirmed the news.
Mr Arathoon said that “Once they (the National Testing Agency) publish the dates of the JEE Main and NEET, we will set our dates, so there is no clash of dates, especially for math and science subjects.” This is being done to avoid a possible clash between JEE Main 2022 date and the ISC semester 2 exam, which may pose a problem for the students. Officials had earlier announced that they would hold the semester 2 board exams in the last week of April.
The CISCE semester 2 exam will consist of only 50 per cent of the total syllabus. The remaining 50 per cent syllabus was conducted in semester 1. The overall syllabus has been deducted by 25-30 per cent due to the loss of instructional hours due to online classes. CISCE will make the final results based on semester 1, semester 2, internals, and practical exam marks.
CISCE has already announced the semester 1 results. However, the pass percentage has not been released. Therefore, students will be termed as pass or fail only once the final results are out.
