IIM CAT Cutoff 2022 Out Shortly: Check Difference Between CAT Qualifying Cutoff and CAT Final Cutoff

CAT Cutoff 2022: The conducting authorities range the cut offs for CAT admission 2022 to the IIMs range between 95-100 percentile for all categories. For General category students, the CAT cutoff 2022 percentile for top IIMs is expected to be around 98-100 percentile. In comparison, the cut offs could be lower for Reserved category students. However, for new and baby IIMs, the CAT cut offs will be comparatively lower for all categories. Further, the CAT cutoffs 2021 for all IIMs were in the 90 to 100 percentile range. Note that the CAT exam 2022 was the same difficulty level in 2020 and 2021. Therefore, the cutoffs stayed the same in the latter year.

However, they reveal the final CAT cut offs only after the result announcement or at the time of shortlisting post the personal interview. The qualifying CAT Cutoff 2022 is the minimum score criteria for MBA admission. Significantly, the qualifying CAT cut off varies for each IIM and forms the basis of the selection of candidates for the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.
