IIM & IIT Indore Admissions 2022 Open: Application Deadline July 30

For the academic year 2022- 2023, IIM Indore and IIT Indore are jointly offering the Master of Science in Data Science and Management (MSDSM). Students can apply for the course through the official website – iiti.ac.in. The IIM & IIT Indore Admissions 2022 applications are underway. However, the last date to apply is July 30.

It is a two-year online MSDSM course. IIT and IIM Indore made the official course announcement and its admission process on the official Twitter handle of both institutes. Candidates interested in the programme must take the Data Science and Management Aptitude Test (DMAT) on July 31, 2022. For DMAT, the last date to submit the application form has been extended. Now the applicants can submit their application by July 20 2022.

As for the class schedules for this two-year online course, there will be live lectures of more than 850 hours with 14-15 hour classes every week. Out of these two years, students will spend 30 days on campus. They will benefit from studying with the faculties of both institutes. They will learn from the best and have a base in business acumen, analytical expertise and leadership skills.

Exam Eligibility

Now let’s look at the eligibility criteria for the students applying for the exam. 

• First class or 60% or 6.0 CPI / 6.0 CGPA (Scale of 10).
• As per Government of India rules, there is a relaxation for the SC/ST/PWD categories.
• Candidates must have a BTech/ BE/ BS/ BPharm/ BArch/ BDes/ BFtech/ or a four-year BSc/ MSc/ MCA/ MBA degree or have completed at least two courses in Mathematics and one in Computer Programming at the qualifying degree level.
• Candidates must have a valid CAT/GATE/GMAT/GRE/JAM test score within the last three years. 
• DMAT (Data Science and Management Aptitude Test) is a test for candidates who have not taken CAT, GATE, GMAT, GRE, or JAM.

IIM & IIT Indore Admissions 2022: Application Procedure

Following are the steps that students must follow while applying for the course.

• Visit the MSDSM official application portal at msdsm.iiti.ac.in.
• Fill in your details like name, email id etc. After this, the website will generate your registration number. 
• Now use your registration number to log in and fill in the application form.
• Pay the required application fee and submit the form.
• Students must take a printout of the application form for future reference.
• The application fee for Indian students and international students differ slightly. For Indian students, the application fee is INR 1770 (including GST), and for international students, it is INR 2300 (including GST).
• Students who want to appear for DMAT and have not competed in other entrance exams like CAT or GATE would have to pay INR 2360 for the application fee.
