The Indian Institute of Management IIM Lucknow introduced new MBA program in Entrepreneurship And Innovation to provide aspiring business owners with the expertise, know-how, and exposure to the industry.
IIM Lucknow: The Indian Institute of Management IIM Lucknow is introducing a new program to provide aspiring business owners with the expertise, know-how, and exposure to the industry they need to successfully create and run a company that will address a big issue or seizes a large opportunity.
The MBA (entrepreneurship and innovation) program will adopt a curricular philosophy and pedagogy based on entrepreneurial knowledge and skills starting in August 2023.
Director of IIML Prof. Archana Shukla stated, "With our two successful incubators, IIM Lucknow has built an entrepreneurial ecosystem. The ecosystem is strengthened and leveraged by the MBA-E & I programme. The programme is special because it incorporates an admissions and curriculum philosophy based on skill development and is intended to inspire entrepreneurship.
Starting in August 2023, the MBA programme in "entrepreneurship and innovation" will adhere to a curriculum philosophy and pedagogy that places a 50% emphasis on teaching entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through courses at the graduate level.
These multidisciplinary courses would cover all facets of management and related subjects. Exercises, examples, and course materials will all be relevant to and linked with early-stage entrepreneurial initiatives.
