IIT Delhi Placement 2022: A Record of 1150 Students Receives Job Offers
The officials have recorded a new record for IIT Delhi placement 2022. About 1150 students have received job offers through the interview process.
IIT Delhi Placement 2022: The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi officials, commenced with the IIT Delhi 2022 placement drive. Further, the IIT Delhi placement 2022 recorded the highest-ever number of job offers received on campus until Dec 15, 2022. Per the official statement, candidates have received over 1,300 job offers this year in the 2022-23 placement season. Furthermore, it is reported that the recruiters uniquely selected over 1,150 students. Note that the placement season goes on up to the end of May. The 1,300 plus job offers include more than 260 pre-placement offers.

The number of offers and unique selections that the IIT Delhi students have is at a high record. Moreover, there has been over a 10 per cent increase in the number of unique selections over last year. Per the IIT Delhi official statement, the PPOs this year were the highest ever received. Additionally, as many as ten students have opted for the deferred placement facility of the institute. The deferred placement facility is available to those students who aspire to build a startup after graduation. IIT Delhi authorities further explained that after choosing the deferred placement option, “Candidates can avail of IIT Delhi placement 2022 services once within two years after availing this option, up to 2024-25 for the current batch.”
Note: This year, the IIT Delhi interview process was conducted in a single slot each day. This way, the correct fitment for the students and the recruiting organisations could be facilitated.
Candidates must remember that students received more than 30 international offers from around 15 international organisations. In addition, they offered over 20 job profiles across the country, such as; Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Moreover, the IIT Delhi placement 2022 includes six international pre-placement offers. Therefore, the interview process provided ample time for the recruiters to make selection judgments, leading to better hiring decisions. Furthermore, per the speculations, the Company visits are scheduled to ensure an excellent sectoral mix on each recruiting day during December.
