IIT JAM 2023 Exam Date Out; Application Process Starts 7 September
Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, will conduct IIT JAM 2023 on 12 February 2023. Candidates can apply online from 7 September 2022.
IIT JAM 2023: Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has released the IIT JAM 2023 notification on the official website. According to the notification, the IIT JAM exam will be conducted on 12 February 2022. The application process for the IIT JAM 2023 will commence on 7 September 2022, and the last date to apply is 11 October 2022.
The Exam result will be released on 22 March 2023. While the admission process in the IITs and other top institutes will begin on 11 April 2023. Candidates can check the JAM 2023 exam schedule on the official website, i.e., jam.iitg.ac.in

JAM 2023 Sessions
JAM 2023 will be held in 2 sessions (Forenoon/Afternoon) in a Computer Based Test. Authorities conduct this exam in seven different subjects Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), and Physics (PH).

Candidates can appear in either one or two test papers. However, candidates can only appear in two test papers if they are not scheduled in the same session. The test is a fully objective type. There will be 3 types of questions –
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
- Numerical Answer Type (NAT)
The JAM 2023 scores will likely be used by 30 CFTIs, including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER, IIPE, JNCASR, and SLIET, to admit candidates in over 2300 seats.
