IIT Madras Opens Registration Window for Executive MBA Programme @doms.iitm.ac.in

Officials from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, have started inviting applications for its upcoming Executive MBA (EMBA) degree programme. Candidates must note that EMBA is a weekend-only programme beginning in January 2023 and designed for career professionals. Meanwhile, the classes will occur in a hybrid manner- both online and offline- on alternate weekends.

According to official inputs from IIT Madras, students of the programme will gain knowledge on cybersecurity, social media, internet marketing, global strategy, digital economy, Internet 4.0 technologies, business models, applications, and innovation. Thus, interested and eligible candidates can apply for the EMBA programme by 10 October on the official website at doms.iitm.ac.in. Furthermore, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three-year work experience to be eligible for the programme.

Meanwhile, the basic programme structure will aid mid-career professionals in gaining industry experience, leadership skills and how to make critical business decisions. The programme has a functional foundation section that will teach students about different business aspects. Next, in the “Integrated Perspectives” section, candidates will learn about cross-functional challenges and synergistic inter-departmental functionalities. Furthermore, the section on global leadership will enable essential business skills like sustainability, business growth and profitability. Finally, candidates can participate in three Capstone projects to enhance their business learning of advanced concepts.
