IIT Patna to Launch 6 UG Hybrid Programmes Compliant: IIT Patna aims to create a learning opportunity for those who desire IIT education but could not make it through JEE Advanced. Furthermore, The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna is set to start six unique academic programmes compliant with National Education Policy (NEP-2020) framework with a focus on employable skills relevant to industry demand.
IIT Patna: 6 New Programmes
The following UG hybrid programmes are open for admission.
Computer Science
BSc (Hons)
- Computer Science and Data Analytics (CSDA)
- Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity (AICS)
- Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS)
Business Management
- BSc (Hons): Accounting and Financial Management (AFM)
- BSc (Hons): Business Management and Analytics (BMA)
- Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)
These programmes will enable the day scholars to enhance their skills. The officials say that the motivation for starting such a program lies in the rapid growth in digital technology worldwide. These programme also gives the students a blend of learning and work experience through paid apprenticeship. Upon successfully completing the 3-year degree programme, the candidates will be awarded IITP alumni status. However, the opportunity of entry and exit scope exists each year with an opportunity to re-enter later with a credit bank facility.
